Siri in iOS 6? 05/12/2012
According to TechCrunch, iOS 6 — which is being referred to as Sundance behind closed doors — will give app developers access to Siri’s functionality, marking a departure from what Apple’s service currently offers. Think of being able to update your Twitter status just through Siri, no typing required. Meanwhile, Siri for iPad seemed like a matter of time, especially with the introduction of voice dictation on Apple’s latest iPad. Apparently, Apple’s struggled more with Siri’s UI than actual functionality on the iPad, which is why it has taken the company so long. Add Comment Important update! 05/05/2012

Hello everyone, Rich Greene here, owner of "TechyT". I just wanted to tell you guys something that is very important. As most of you know, I am the number one most popular podcast on http://www.spreaker.com/. My friend Tanner, who owns the site http://www.theyoutuber.org/, has asked me to host my own show on his new website, which will not launched until THIS WEEKEND. So I will be hosting a tech podcast on that website, along with Spreaker. I would like to thank everyone for cooperating as we make a few minor changes. Have a great day! Nokia has been granted patent of its own that could help it cover itself should Apple ever pursue a lawsuit against its products. Nokia’s patent, which was awarded recently by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, covers a process in which a user will slide a single icon across the screen to choose a specific application. Once selecting the application, the device will unlock and the application will launch, UnwiredView explained. Well, a lot was unveiled at Wednesday's Apple event, I'm here to tell you how it went, and some of my opinions. At the Apple event, they unveiled a new Apple TV. The only big difference about this set-top box is that there is a new UI, and you can watch videos in 1080P HD. Next, Apple released a brand new app for the iPhone and iPad, called iPhoto. iPhoto completes the iLife package, which also includes iMovie and GarageBand. iPhoto is an app that lets you edit photos and share amazing photographs on FaceBook, Twitter, or even create your own journal. The journal is my favorite part to the whole application. You can make a journal of all your photos and add some nice effects and features, and email a link to your friends and family. The next app, is an update from Apple. They updated iMovie, now giving you the ability to make not only home movies, but you can make awesome movie trailers. They also updated GarageBand. This lets you play with other friends that have garageband on their iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch over a wifi or bluetooth network. Now, lets talk about the new iPad. Yeah, it's actually called The New iPad. It now has a retina display and an improved camera on the backside on the device. They also added an A5X chip, installed in the device. The New iPad is extremely fast, when you compare it to the iPad 2 and the original iPad. Supply-chain reports indicate that Apple will be launching a 32 and a 37-inch dedicated Apple televisions in the second or third quarter of 2012.According to a DigiTimes report, the televisions will be running on A5 chips comparable to those currently found in the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, and will be using displays made by Sharp. Most likely this TV will be different than just the set top box Apple was selling for several years now. I am very excited to hear what Apple has to offer over the next several months, what do you think? Drop us a comment! How to: Recalibrate your iPhone home button 12/26/2011
Ok, so we all have problems with the home button at some point. Sometimes it can be very laggy. Well this is how to speed it up a bit. First open a stock iOS app (weather, stocks, clock, etc.) Once the app is open, hold down the power button until you see the "slide to power off" screen. Then, when that screen is open, release the power button and hold down the home button until the app closes itself. And there you go! Not rocket science. Xbox 360 Dashboard Update now available! 12/06/2011
After hours of aggravation, microsoft finally released the xbox 360 dashboard update. What do you think? I really like it, it does feel weird because it is an entirely new dashboard. And now the Kinect sensor works better throughout the dashboard. Overall, I think it's great! iOS Update 5.0.1 11/13/2011
Just last week Apple released a new update (5.0.1) which is supposedly going to improve battery life and documents in the cloud. Now I never had problems with documents in the cloud. But I have had problems with my iPhone battery. After updating I did see a battery life improvement. Leave a comment and tell me your experience with the new update!
